The government has dedicated itself to creating peaceful relationships between all Kenyan communities according to Kipchumba Murkomen, who serves as Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government. He made the remarks during a public baraza held in Ndabibi, Maiella Ward, Nakuru County.
Murkomen worked with local leaders and National Government Administrative Officers (NGAOs) and security officials to solve security problems while finding better methods for the government to provide basic services.
New Administrative Division and Police Station
The CS announced the creation of a new administrative Division in Ndabibi to improve governance and security measures. Plans are also underway to construct a police station to strengthen security operations in the region.
The upcoming Divisional Headquarters will house ID and civil registration offices, ensuring residents can access crucial documentation services more conveniently. The program will bring mobile registration services to areas where people need them most.
The national identification card program requires chiefs to help all eligible Kenyans receive their documents according to Murkomen who stated that officials must treat every citizen equally without exceptions.
Leaders in Attendance
The event brought together Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja and Rift Valley Regional Commissioner Abdi Hassan and Regional Police Commander Samuel Ndanyi along with other high-ranking government officials.

Strengthening Governance and Service Delivery
The new Division and police station and expanded civil registration services form part of a government plan which aims to boost security and enhance service delivery and strengthen community bonds according to Murkomen.
The initiative will enhance safety by enabling residents to obtain identification and civil registration services from nearby locations.
The launch of the new Division and all associated services represents a major progress point to enhance governance while making government services more available to Nakuru County residents who live in previously unserved regions.
