LifeCare Hospitals took on the Main Healthcare Partner role during the 7th Edition of the Eldoret Marathon to show its dedication to protecting athlete health and safety while enabling their best performance capabilities. The event established Eldoret as the “City of Champions” through its prestigious status which Athletics Kenya and the organizers developed together.
The marathon drew professional athletes and casual participants together with fitness enthusiasts who traveled from different parts of Kenya and international locations to experience the region's athletic tradition. Eldoret County in Uasin Gishu County serves as an internationally recognized training center which produces top distance runners making the marathon event essential to the annual athletics schedule.

The event attracted top officials including H.E. Jonathan Bii Chelilim Uasin Gishu County Governor who demonstrated his support for sports development and public health programs through his attendance. The event included marathon officials and leading athletes from the region who included Andrew Chelogoi and Moses Tanui one of the world's top long-distance runners who dedicated their lives to developing athletic talent in the area.
Dr. Mayank Puri Senior Director at LifeCare Hospitals Eldoret told participants and guests about the institution's mission to build sports medicine capacity while safeguarding athlete health. He explained that elite athletes need specialized medical care and preventive treatment methods and structured rehabilitation programs to achieve their best performance levels.
