Likoni MP Mish Mboko Mourns With Hon. Kimani Ichung’wah After Father’s Death
In a condolence message shared on her official social media platforms, Mboko said she joined Ichung’wah’s family, friends, and constituents in mourning the departed patriarch.

Likoni Member of Parliament, Mish Mboko, has expressed deep sorrow following the death of Mzee Isaac Ngugi, father to the Leader of Majority in the National Assembly and Kikuyu MP, Hon. Kimani Ichung’wah. The late Ngugi passed away at the age of 105 years.

In a condolence message shared on her official social media platforms, Mboko said she joined Ichung’wah’s family, friends, and constituents in mourning the departed patriarch.

“It is with profound sorrow that on my own behalf and the people of Likoni, I convey heartfelt condolences to the Leader of Majority in the National Assembly and Kikuyu MP, Hon. Kimani Ichung’wah, his family and friends following the passing of his beloved father, Mzee Isaac Ngugi at the age of 105 years,” Mish Mboko stated.

Celebrating a Long Life

The Likoni legislator described Ngugi’s life as an extraordinary blessing, noting that his wisdom and values will continue to live on through the family and community he nurtured.

“His long life was a blessing. His wisdom and legacy will live on through his family and community,” she said.

A Message of Comfort

Mboko also expressed solidarity with Ichung’wah during this painful time, assuring the family of her prayers and support.

“We share in the grief of Hon. Ichung’wah and his loved ones during this painful moment. We pray that God’s grace surrounds them with peace and strength,” she added.

Remembering Mzee Ngugi

Mzee Isaac Ngugi is remembered as a respected elder whose guidance, resilience, and long life left an indelible mark on his family and the wider Kikuyu community. His passing has attracted condolences from leaders across the political divide, with many describing him as a man who lived a full and impactful life.

Mboko concluded her tribute with a prayer for the departed soul:

“May Mzee Ngugi’s soul rest in eternal peace.”
