Students from Sino Girls Junior Secondary School in Mwatate were hosted today by the Taita Taveta County Assembly as part of an educational tour aimed at enhancing civic understanding and leadership awareness among young learners. The visit offered the students a firsthand experience of the legislative process within the devolved system of governance.

Observing House Proceedings

During the morning session, the students had the rare opportunity to sit in the public gallery and observe live proceedings of the House. This gave them a practical understanding of how elected Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) debate, make decisions, and represent their constituents.
