Nanyuki High School in Laikipia has registered a stellar performance in the just ended 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations with results that underline a historic chapter for the school. The institution managed to get 55 plain A grades, the highest number that it has ever attained.
The amazing performance led to a hallelujah moment with students and teachers flooding the streets of Nanyuki town to the delight of the achievement. This top, notch performance is a big jump from the schools 2024 KCSE results when it only bagged two plain A grades and a posted a mean score of 8.9, all this despite it being one of the most highly ranked national schools in the country.

Chief Principal Solomon Koech, who spoke to the media at the school on Friday, thanked God for the 2025 students, and said the school had completely broken its academic glass ceiling. He disclosed that the school's mean score went up a notch to an incredible 9.683, which is a testament to the work of teachers, students, and other stakeholders.
"As the principal, I am very delighted with the works of the 2025 class. They have really made us proud, and the entire school community is celebrating, " Koech said.
