In its latest review for the period between April 15 and May 14, 2026, EPRA raised the price of Super Petrol by KSh 28.69 per litre and Diesel by KSh 40.30 per litre, while Kerosene prices remain unchanged.

The regulator attributed the hike to rising global oil prices, noting a significant increase in the landed cost of petroleum products. Super Petrol costs rose by over 41 percent, while Diesel and Kerosene recorded even steeper increases.
The latest hike is likely to intensify pressure on households and businesses, with many Kenyans bracing for a surge in the cost of basic commodities in the coming weeks.
