Coast Media Fraternity Mourns the Death of Fatuma Mwangala

Tributes from Former Colleagues
Radio Kaya, where she hosted the celebrated show Mirindimo ya Kimwambao, confirmed her death in a heartfelt statement:
“Former Radio Kaya presenter of the show Mirindimo ya Kimwambao, Fatuma Mwangala, popularly known as Toto Bomba, has passed away after a short illness.”
JAC FM, where she was serving at the time of her passing, remembered her as a beloved colleague:
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved colleague Fatuma Mwangala. A cherished voice on our airwaves, she touched countless lives with warmth, laughter, and dedication. Fatuma will forever remain in our hearts and memories.”
Msenangu FM, another station where she worked, also mourned her loss, describing her as their “queen of the airwaves.”

Colleagues in Shock
The news has left many in disbelief. Her fellow journalist, Medza Mwangemi of Msenangu FM, expressed deep sorrow:
“It was only yesterday evening that we spoke, and your voice sounded so strong. You even told me you were recovering well after being discharged from hospital. Now I hear you are no longer with us. Truly, life is like a candle that can go out at any moment. Rest well my sister, rest in peace Toto Bomba.” Wrote Mwangemi on her Facebook page.
As the media community and fans come to terms with her passing, she will be remembered not only for her professionalism but also for the warmth and joy she brought to the airwaves.
